Since I was a child

She slammed the phone hard
My dad calls again
She won't hear his excuses

THe phone rings non-stop
I won't pick up the phone
The call is not for me
It's for mum alone

Silence. For a moment.
My mum answers the call
The yelling still continues
It isn't yet all

More screaming and shouting
It doesn't end there
I'm frightened and worried
BUt I mustn't care

The adult world is complicated
As kids we shouldn't wonder

An assignment done in school to create our own creature. It was pretty fun

I made it such that half of it showed the musculature and the other half showed the texture. This isn't the last stage of the sculpture. I added claws and texture after this was taken.
