It's amazing how a comic strip or a comic book has to be made up of a thousand frames of pictures for the sake of telling a story and although mission accomplished, it's like, that's a lot of work!!! And in between there are those scenes or pics that just blow me away! But in that short instance, it is forgotten or passed.
I very recently saw a super awesome drawing someone did of a night elf from warcraft. The artist said that he was apparently flagged once for it and decided to declare this time that he had in fact ask for permission before he put it up. Haaaiii... I guess I could understand why people would be put off if their stuff was copied. But personally, I feel like it's just fanart. (Yet who am I to talk since I do it myself
Oh well, I feel a bit strange when people download my pics. But a nice kind of strange... like firstly I wonder what they do with it... it's hardly a colouring book since it's shaded? haha. Ah well... Anyway, those people SHOULD know that it was referenced from other people's drawing or from the comic book. (Unless of course the stuff is like never-before-seen in which case it is my own creation)
Yes. For me it is practice and it's like I really really like the original so I try to reproduce it myself? Not sure how my brain works but well... NO copyright infringement intended! It's just my way of saying... hey... I'm a big fan
